Dr. Udi Levi

Dr. Ehud (UDI) Levi served as an intelligence officer in the IDF and other Israeli intelligence agencies for more than 35 years, specializing in countering the financing of terrorism, money laundering, and the tracing of illegal assets. He was nominated as the IDF's representative to the Counter-Terrorism Bureau in the Prime Minister's Office, and since 2001 he has served as deputy to General Meir Dagan, who headed the special committee to combat the financing of terrorism and economic warfare, under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. In 2003, after General Dagan's nomination as head of Mossad, Dr. Levi was appointed Chief of the Economic Warfare and Financial Intelligence Division in the Mossad, directing global operations and thwarting the billions of dollars allocated to terrorist financing and weapons of mass destruction programs. He coordinated the entire Israeli intelligence campaign against Iran and fundamentalist terrorist groups. Since retiring in 2015, Dr. Levi led several criminal asset tracking projects at scale and was a special advisor to the governments of various countries on issues related to investigations against money laundering, transnational organized crime, and the financing of terrorism. Dr. Levi advises countries, international corporations, banks, Lawyers, and the financial sector on issues of financial intelligence, anti-money laundering, complex investigations, and fraud at the international level, while representing Israeli technology companies dealing with cybersecurity and Financial Intelligence, as well as FINTECH. Dr. Levi holds a Ph.D. from Bar llan University in Middle Eastern Studies, specializing in fundamentalist terrorist organizations.
